C and C++ code, as well as other low level languages are not fundamentally compatible with the web, but with Web Assembly we can port C based projects or other highly performant languages onto a website. FIGMA kinda feels like a desktop application, but it runs on a website, right? So we ported the video game DOOM from 1993 and put it onto a website! Its a way to take our primarily C based education and put it in a context everyone's familiar with.
