Atlas School reserves the right to deny admission or re-entry to any applicant or student if, in the School’s sole discretion, the individual is deemed:

All admitted students are required to comply with the Student Policies as outlined in the Atlas School Catalog, which prohibits behavior that significantly disrupts the welfare, safety, or educational experience of others within the School community
Throughout their time at Atlas School, students should expect to spend 1-2 days a week on campus in 3-hour class sessions and set aside an additional 25-35 hours spent studying and completing online activities. Capstone and Demo Day presentations may also take place outside of standard class time.
Students may choose to attend office hours and tutoring sessions scheduled at the discretion of individual instructors. Additionally, there are many optional events, such as internal community activities or networking opportunities that students may also wish to participate in.
Students have 24/7 access to the campus which allows students an opportunity to work on academic related activities (ARAs) on campus outside of normal business hours. Atlas School employs security for the safety of the students and staff while the building is open.
Some people choose to be a full-time student, others keep full- or part-time jobs in addition to their studies at Atlas. Meet with an admissions advisor if you have more detailed questions about making Atlas School work within your schedule.
For the next start date, students can expect to attend in-person Morning classes 1-2 days a week during their first trimester. The days and times of courses for future trimesters will vary based on your academic schedule.
Atlas School operates on a 15-week trimester rotation with 3 five-week modules within each trimester. Each course module begins on a Monday and ends (five weeks later) on a Friday.
Students may be scheduled for synchronous class time Monday-Friday of each module week. Students are enrolled to attend classes during either a morning, afternoon, or evening session. Synchronous class sessions are scheduled* as follows:
* Capstone (CS2900) final presentations and Demo Day events may be scheduled outside of normal class hours. These will take place in the last course module of a student's final trimester.
Asynchronous coursework is designed to provide a level of flexibility; however, academic related activities (ARAs) may be assigned and come due at any time during the course, including weekends.
Atlas School does not accept credits or clock hours earned from other schools. Atlas School does not accept experiential learning for advanced placement or transfer credit for any of its courses.
The transferability of credits you earn at Atlas School is at the complete discretion of an institution to which you may seek to transfer. Acceptance of the diploma you earn for completing your program is also at the complete discretion of the institution you may seek to transfer. If the credits or credential that you earn at this institution are not accepted at the institution to which you seek to transfer, you may be required to repeat some or all your coursework at that institution. For this reason, you should make certain that your attendance at this institution will meet your educational goals. This may include contacting an institution to which you may seek to transfer after attending Atlas School to determine if your credits or clock hours will transfer.
Atlas School has not entered into any articulation or transfer agreements with any other college or university.
Disabled Applicants and Students
The school is committed to compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and its regulations. Students Seeking Reasonable Accommodations
In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as amended, the School abides by the regulation that “no otherwise handicapped individual” shall be excluded from participation in the programs and services offered by the School “solely by reason of the handicap.” A student is eligible for consideration for accommodations and/or auxiliary aids and services if the student has a disability and the Director of Education has met with the student, consulted with the school’s Executive Director and determined that the functional limitations of the disability require such accommodation, auxiliary aids and/or services.
